I’m the associate director of Data Labs at Pew Research Center, where I help lead a team of data scientists studying society, culture, technology, and politics using computational methods and large-scale behavioral data.

Before Pew, I earned a PhD in Political Science and Social Data Analytics from Penn State, where I worked on methods for measuring political expression in text using large language models, and applied them to study the links between online activism and real-world protest.
